About the artist
Hélène Cayre lives in Paris, a city that has captured her heart. Influenced by the Dutch Old Masters, she consciously abandons modern art methods in favour of raw, beautiful hand-drawn pencil sketches with an edgy, rock and roll twist.
I like to buy all my gifts in one go; to feel like Santa Claus. They need to reflect the person, me and Paris. I love being laden with bags, hunting for the perfect presents in unusual, undiscovered shops across the city.
