About the artist
Vero is a painter from Mexico City. Staying true to her roots, she often explores the theme of life and death. Favouring loose brush strokes over hyper-realism, she deliberately leaves her work open to interpretation.
Mexico City explored with colour and vibrancy all year long, but Christmas celebrations are extra special. Dazzling lights line the streets, piñatas await their fate and dancing Matachines come out to play. It’s chaotic. Symbolic. Beautiful.
